The first thing to learn anything new is knowing what you are doing wrong. And the biggest problem which stops us from loving ourselves is doing what others want
The thing is we want to be the apple of everyone's eyes and in this process, we forget to shine of our own eyes. Give some time to yourself to try to know what you want to be in any situation and do what your heart wants to do. If someone wants to like you, they will like all colors of you, not only which suits their eyes. Start saying 'no' to things that make you uneasy
Start valuing things your heart want
When you learn to say no to things you don't want. Then only you can start to value what your heart wants because the more you listen to your heart the more you feel loved.
Everyone loves to be praised so do you and your heart. Give some respect and praise to your heart too. And for that, you just have to start enjoying and doing what your heart and you want.
Start giving time to things your heart honestly enjoys not the things you want to enjoy because others are enjoying the same. If you like sitting at home rather than going out with others don't go; you can't feel joy if your heart doesn't want to.
Start maintaining distance from Toxic people
To start loving yourself or others you should first know how to accept them without alteration in it, The more you learn the power of accepting things the more you will feel good and loved.
If you are surrounded by people who like to judge or insult people it's high time to start cutting ties with them. Because if you don't find the courage to show who you are and if your mind is full of negative thoughts you can never accept and love yourself
Keep your circle small yet enough for you
Its never about how many people we know its always about how many people are willing to be on our side in low and high
Start choosing the one who is worth your trust and who makes you feel good in every phase of life. Nowadays we run over increasing the number of friends on social sites and all we do is compare those 'friends' with others. But it should not be our concern the thing we should think about is who is true to us and willing to accept us.
If you feel loved by others you can easily start having more and more value for yourself too. The small yet caring friends circle is way better than having 1000 friends that make you feel anxious
Remember it's quality, not quantity
Start reading and watching happy and joyful contents
It may sound weird but it's true your mind and emotions get affected by what you read and watch like if you read about sad content you feel the sad energy and your mind start finding everything sad or depressing.
Start avoiding any kind of negative content and start focusing on funny or happy content. It will also help your mind to feel relax and happy and it also helps you to find happiness in everything around you
Your mind sees and reacts to what you feed it Feed your mind with happiness it will give you love and happiness in return.
Start expressing yourself
If you don't express yourself, others can easily feel irritated or take advantage of you which can easily make you feel low on your own self. But if you try to state your point some may not like it still it definitely makes you feel relax and at ease about yourself
Don't think about others. Focus on yourself and your choice and express them all the time. If you want to love the one you are you should also have to accept publicly who you are.
A great relation in dark has lots of insecurities. So try to have good relation with yourself in public without any doubt and insecurity.
Take yourself on a date
Dates are a way to know each other more and to get close to each other more. If one wants to know and love themselves then go and learn about yourself it is what you want

Nourish your body is also a key
Just listening to your mind and doing what your heart wants is not enough, but you should also focus on your body too. As our body is like our house we should keep it healthy. It also helps in building confidence in you
Whenever you look at your body and it gives you positive thoughts it pushes you to love it more. And you want to love that body and soul more and more as it gives you a sense of beauty. Eat greens, do workouts.
Keep your body healthy and fit as is the most important asset to you
Tell yourself how important you are
Telling the one you love what they mean to you is important. The same goes for yourself if you don't tell yourself that you matter; you can never realize your worth is.
Tell yourself that you love yourself or write a letter to yourself or just remind yourself that "I am the best " at end of the day is the simplest yet the most important thing you can do.
